Richmond riverside music festival post pic

The Richmond riverside music festival is a great way to spend your August bank holiday weekend. This is a free festival organised by the Crawdaddy group. It is not sure if it will take place next year as it requires funding, details on how you can help are available at: Crawdaddy

This festival is very blues and jazz orientated targeting the older generation but in general a great festival for all groups and ages. The festival is set on the riverside with a fantastic view of the Thames in the background, surrounded by pubs and a local market next door and just behind the greenvillage Italian Delicattesen offering drinks and food.

The bands playing this weekend were: The Hornets, The Blue Bishops, David Sinclair band, The Mustangs, Crawdaddy blues band, The Paul cox band, Powerjam, The Geoff Grabow band, Emma Wilson Band, Robert Hokum Band, Jump 66 and The Milk men. All fantastic bands making an exciting weekend of music and entertainment.

With the respect to copyright infringement, it was not possible to record all the bands. This video is to give you a small insight of what you can expect at this fantastic festival.

When you go to a music festival, the one thing that is always on your mind is how much fun it will be seeing some fantastic bands and the general atmosphere with people dancing and having a great time.  The best part is being surrounded by other people who love music as much as I do.  This year’s Richmond Riverside Music Festival Was of no exception.
