Thailand to Cambodia by bus
Why would you want to travel from Thailand to Cambodia by bus? There are many reasons but personally I had 2. The first reason I chose to travel by bus as opposed to flying or catching the trail (which are both much quicker) is because whilst traveling for long periods at a time I need to budget and traveling by bus tends to be a much cheaper option (generally).
My second reason for traveling from Thailand to Cambodia by bus was because I have never been to Cambodia and I wanted to see more of this beautiful country from ground level as opposed to just flying over it or seeing it through a train window.
Would I do it again?
To be honest, NO. yes it was a great experience and I recommend doing it at least once but it took me over 30 hours and that is a lot of time you could be spending by a hotel swimming pool or walking along a paradise beach and stopping off at bar for a refreshing drink. Basically unless you are on a real budget and have plenty of time on your hands you are much better off taking a train or catching a flight.
