Salad nicoise

Here’s a classic recipe for Salad Niçoise:

Ingredients:

  • 3 baby gem lettuce ripped into pieces
  • 6 eggs (boiled)
  • 3 tins of Tuna in sunflower oil
  • 1 tin of anchovy
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup pitted black olives
  • 1/4 cup capers, drained
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 red peppers baked in the oven

For the dressing:

  • 6 tbs Good mayonnaise
  • mixed herbs

Instructions:

  1. Break your baby gems into a serving dish.
  2. Sprinkle the flaked Tuna over the top
  3. chop the anchovy and spread it around evenly
  4. Finally, slice the red onion and distribute them evenly over the Tuna
  5. Cut the boiled eggs into quarters and place them evenly in the dish
  6. Sprinkle the capers and olives all over
  7. place a dollop of the mayonnaise & mixed herbs all around
  8. Skin and slice the red peppers and garnish the dish
  9. Serve the Salad Niçoise immediately and enjoy!
