Ingredients:

- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder (optional)
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 1/4 cup water
- Fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a karahi or a deep pan over medium heat.
- Add the onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
- Add the ginger and garlic, and sauté for another minute.
- Add the tomatoes and green chilies, and sauté until the tomatoes turn soft and mushy.
- Add the lamb pieces, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder (if using), and salt. Mix well.
- Add the yogurt and water, and mix well.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the lamb is cooked through and tender.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with rice or roti.
