Kish restaurant Kilburn

If its Iranian or Persian cuisine you are searching for, then look no further. Kish Iranian, Persian Restaurant in Kilburn High Road offers fantastic, Authentic Iranian Food with all the trimmings. I visited this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. From starters like Paneer Sabzi, Borani-E-Esfanaj, Mirzah Ghasemi and tandoori baked Persian flat bread to main courses such as  Kabab Koobideh, Barg, Ghormeh Sabzi,Gheymeh Badenjan and a wide selection of deserts washed down with Jasmine tea, Kish restaurant has it all. With plenty of spacious seating inside and outside you can relax and enjoy your visit.

Often whilst visiting restaurants and general eateries I come across something unusual. My experience at Kish restaurant was no exception when I was offered to try their Jasmine tea. Hasten to add, I was pleasantly surprised. With an actual real jasmine flower in the glass, it was a lovely cup of tea if I do say so myself.

What is the difference between Iranian and Persian?

The battle of Issus in 333bc saw the end to the Persian empire. Iran formed over the centre of the ancient Persian Empire and most of the original Persians inhabited the land. Whilst all are citizens of Iran, many can still trace back their Persian ancestry. The only true difference would be that Iranian is a nationality and Persian is an ethnicity. Today Iran is populated by many different groups of people such as baloch, Azeri, Kurds, Lurs and Turkomen tribes but most Iranian inhabitants are of Persian descent.
