There are those who would shudder at the thought of cooking their food on a disposable BBQ but bear in mind they are the same people who would moan at having to carry a full-size metal BBQ to the destination.
You don’t have to be a trained chef, but there are pros and cons to everything and below I will give you a list of pros and cons of using a disposable BBQ to cook with and you can decide if you would like to cook your steak well-done on it.

This will vary with different locations. To say yes 100% would be putting my neck on the line. But, unless there is a sign specifically saying no BBQ’S & you follow safety guidelines and respect those around you, I have never had any issues.
A hot summers day, and everyone heads for the parks or the beaches. How fantastic to pick up a disposable BBQ, some sausages, burgers bread rolls, and drinks, on the way, that’s the perfect day set. The only thing to put an end to this is people’s selfish attitude and disrespect.
It is totally understandable when the council refuses to allow BBQS on beaches and in parks because of a minority of ignorant people.
Most disposable BBQ’S have instructions on the box on how to light the BBQ and safety procedures to adhere to. If these are complied with and there are no signs or designated areas, worst case scenario is you will be asked to extinguish the BBQ.
Without sounding like a schoolteacher, below are a few simple dos & don’ts that should be taken into consideration when using your disposable BBQ in the park or on the beach. There is no fun in getting everything set up, then have an official come and tell you to take it down because of being inconsiderate and unsafe.

Most disposable BBQs are made of light aluminium and designed for one use only. Depending on how you use your disposable BBQ, there is no reason why you cannot reuse it time and time again. The cost effectiveness of this will depend on the price you pay for your charcoal.
Recycling is always the best way and I would be the first to recommend it, but you must also take into consideration a safety aspect of using a worn-out disposable BBQ. Will the food cook without rolling off? will the hot coals remain in the tray without falling out and creating a fire?
If you take good care of your disposable BBQ and refrain from moving it about too much, then yes you can reuse your disposable BBQ.
